NAFTA Super Highway Corridor

I just learned about this during a presidential candidate forum I attended June 22, 2007 in New Hampshire.  One of the questions for us was what we thought about the plan to build a huge highway up through the center of the USA and the use of eminent domain to secure all the land that was needed for it.  All seven of us were ignorant of this plan.  Now I know why President Bush is not building the Mexican border fence.

I’ve been asking people about this since I returned, and nearly everyone is clueless.  Here’s why: humanevents.com/article.php?id=15497.  This is being kept quiet until it is virtually “fait accompli,” a done deal.  The NAFTA super highway may be the biggest boondoggle of our lifetime.  It benefits Mexico at the expense of our longshoremen and truck drivers.  It takes valuable land by eminent domain to benefit a Spanish company that will oversee the toll road.

But wait, there’s more!  Rudi Giuliani’s law firm is exclusive legal counsel for Cintra, the Spanish construction firm handling the majority of work on the highway: renewamerica.us/columns/grassi/070504.  This is incredible, and undoubtedly involves a lot of Congress’ tacit approval.  They all can’t be in the dark about this.  The people of the United States of America are in for a real hosing.  Learn more about what the multi-millionaires have planned for “our” country: nascocorridor.com/.

As YOUR president, I will stop this plan dead in its tracks.  I will also begin a reevaluation of NAFTA in its entirety and its effects on Americans.  I will build the Mexican border fence, acting as Commander-In-Chief of our military, by ordering the Army Corps of Engineers to begin on the east end and the Navy Seabees starting on the west end to complete the fence.  I will also begin identifying all “undocumented workers,” i.e. illegal immigrants, and deporting those who refuse, as well as all foreign criminals.  We should allow the foreign workers to continue working here, but not without positive identification.  There will be no benefits for advancing citizenship.  They will fall in line behind everyone else waiting for that.

Congress is currently voting to merge the currencies of the USA, Canada, and Mexico to create a euro-like "amero." This is just another nail in the coffin that Americans will wake up one day to find themselves in.&; The North American Union will NOT improve the status of the average American. It will lower the standard of living in this country to raise the standard of living in Mexico. The only winners will be the ultra-wealthy corporate and political leaders, which shouldn't be a surprise to any of us. Neither party’s candidate will oppose this movement. It will only be stopped in its tracks by an independent, unaffiliated President with no ties or obligations to the corporate world.
