Throughout the era of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, a militarily-forced unification of countries bordering Russia, the citizens of those countries suffered unbelievable hardships. Nearly every family experienced the loss of a relative to Soviet purges and relocation, often to Siberia and gulags. There was extensive “Russification” of these countries, with Russian families moving into the now empty homes of those who were moved out. It was a way to infiltrate these satellite countries with loyal citizens of Mother Russia, thereby creating more of a legitimate claim through citizenships. It was a long-term plan.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, and the self-liberation of these countries, Russian military forces were generally forced to leave. The Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia stood firm in their resolve to remove all traces of the Soviet Era, and many citizens returning from exile deep in Russia legally reclaimed their former homes and lands. Ethnic Russians returned to their country, and Russian troops packed up and left as well. I’ve been to Lithuania several times and explored former Soviet air bases and military compounds. People there told me that as the Russian troops were moving out on trucks, they jeered, “We’ll be back!”

Russia has no real interest in the Georgian States of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. This is simply a test of Europe’s and the USA’s strength, determination, and resolve. This is precisely what Hitler did in 1938, uttering nearly the exact same words, that the citizens of these states wanted to be part of his country, and ethnically were already. This was just a test, and there are plans to do it again, on a greater scale, just like Hitler did. We must learn from history and not repeat the appeasement, pacification, and timidity that led us all into World War II. It is happening again.

Russian leaders respect decisive force, not strong words. Like China, any means justifies their goal, and they will do whatever it takes to achieve their ultimate objective. As President of the United States of America, I would send a clear message to Moscow, “Remove all your armor from Georgian soil or they will be destroyed in 24 hours.” From this day forward, we are playing hardball with all nations that disrespect sovereign borders, commit acts of genocide, or seek hegemony over others.

My campaign is being run the American way, as a citizen running for office to serve this country, then return to his previous occupation. I’m not relying on bundlers bringing in hundreds of thousands of dollars, or corporate contributions fattening my “war chest.” Instead I am relying on the Americans who read my platform and agree with my messages to pass the information on to others, spreading my name by word of mouth and e-mail, bumper stickers and lawn signs. With over 1,000 people reading this site every day, I believe support is spreading.

As a write-in candidate in nearly all states, voters will do something they’ve probably never done before in an election; reject Republican, Democratic, and other party candidates to write in an independent. If I am successful, I will be the first independent President of the United States of American since George Washington. This will be a clear mandate by we the people that we want an end to the 150 years of Democratic/Republican rule of our government, and that this truly IS our government. This government exists to serve the people, not the other way around, and the Declaration of Independence guarantees “the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it” through civil electoral processes, or by force of arms. For this reason alone, we should always be accorded the right to bear arms.
